WHEWWW!!!!!!

Okay, so I know Isaid that I was back and such and then I don't blog for like a year! Shame on me BUT I have good reason. Promise. I have been sooo busy that I haven't had much time for anything. But that's good right? I would much rather be busy than not. Since the beach trip I have had several shoots that were awesome and just shot a wedding over the weekend! Cannot wait to tell everyone about it too! But I have been busy editing, meeting with new clients, and trying to get everything in order for the changing season.
So, a couple weekends ago I had a session with my sister's in-laws and it was very interesting. It involved 5 kids under the age of 6. YEA, I know. haha. But all was good. The next day I had a session with some friends of ours and it was AMAZING!!! Not only did we get some good shots but we had a blast doing it. We laughed the entire time and it made the pics that much better.

This past weekend I shot a wedding on my dad's birthday. We had to leave Huntsville early to drive an hour and a half to get to the location of the wedding. When we woke up we found that our downstairs had flooded. Yea, it sucked. So, we were trying to get ready while soaking up water to the best of our ability. We left Huntsville at 745 that day and we didn't get back til close to midnight! It was a LONG day. But a good day.

The next day was my hubby's dad's birthday. yea, our dad's birthdays are back to back. SO we had a wonderful lunch and spent some time with them. Then we went home to clean the rest of the water from the downstairs!

In between the other days I have been editing, editing, and editing some more. Today, was pretty busy as well. I had a lunch date with my friend Justin. We went to Mellow Mushroom (yummm) and caught up. I then cleaned house, did laundry, and went to the store since we were having company over. So, things have been quite busy around here. I have gotten a lot of interest in my work lately and my calender is filling up!!!! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband that supports me and my dreams. I hope I don't keep you wating another year for another post! So, until then Keep Livin, Keep Lovin , & Keep Laughin!

R&R

Okay. so tomorrow Josh and I are leaving to go down to the BEACH!!!! WooHoo!!! Finally! I am soo excited. Every year his family goes down to the beach to the shrimp festival. I haven't really been out of Huntsville in a while so I am super pumped! We will be doing some shopping, resting, and eating lots of yummy food!!! So hopefully I will come back with some pictures to document our little get a way.
Okay, so I have been downloading music all night and I am so happy. I have really been in a mood lately to just chill and listen to some good music. I don't know what you do as an outlet, but music takes me away. I think I miss dancing and the way music makes me feel and move. Yes, music moves me. There is just something about it.
Well, I really don't habe a lot to say but I will be back next week with some pics to show!!! Hope everyone has a great week!!!! Until next time...........Keep Livin Keep Lovin Keep Laughin

A change is in the air!!!!

Okay so, it's been a while since i have written anything. BUT, I am back!!! I think! haha. A lot has gone on. Too much to remember. So, I will just start off with today. Josh and I got back from an awesome hike today. The weather has been unbelievable this past week. So, we took the pups up on the mountain for a little hike. It's been too long since we have gone on a walk like today. We are now watching the football game. So all in all a pretty good day.
I have recently been rereading the twilight series and can't help but to be obsessed. For all you others out there, you know what I mean. New moon is coming out in theaters in November so I thought I ought to refresh my memory. Well, the problem is, is that I will probably have to reread it again right before. But, as a twilight fan I am totally dedicated in doing so! hahahaha. I think that the whole obsession with this book is that Stephanie Meyers has created the perfect love. The perect relationship. Of course, with our human nature we all want what we cannot have which is the whole point of the books. But Bella is lucky enough to have the attention of 2 yes I said 2 handsome gents. I wish she could give me some pointers!!! haha. Just joking. I love you Josh!!!!
Things other than that have been pretty good. October is going to be a very busy month for me and I am totally stoked about that! So, i will have lots to tell you guys!!!
I am so excited about the weather change. I feel that after every summer I am welcoming a change. The weather starts to cool down. No humidity, great sunshine. Football, changing leaves, and lots of holidays to look forward to. It has to be my FAVORITE time of the year. So, since i have filled you in, I hope to write again soon.
Until then...........Keep Livin Keep Lovin Keep Laughin

Good Day!!!!

So, today has been a pretty good day. I woke up to the sound of the rain which was awesome! I got to lay in bed and listen to the rain as I snuggled with my dog Marley. Today I have just been editing a session that I shot Saturday. It was an awesome session and I am totally stoked about the pics and the way they are coming out!

On Monday's my hubby has class so I don't really get to see him hardly at all. So I went and got my favorite meal (Thomas' BBQ) and took it up to his work and ate lunch with him. So that was nice to get to spend some time with him since he won't get home til late tonight! And on the way home I decided to stop by one of my fav stores just to look around! I bought my fall purse and it is soooo cute!!! I like to buy a new purse every summer and fall so this will be my fall bag! I was soo excited that I wanted to blog about it! haha. Purses are a big deal for me! Not really anyhting else but I llike a nice bag. Is that so wrong??? Didn't think so! I;m posting a pic of it and a pic of the flowers Josh got me just because!!! sigh.... I heart him soo much! Well, not sure what the week brings but if anything exciting happens I will def write about it!!! Until then.....Keep Livin' Keep Lovin' Keep Laughin'

Lots of Fun but LITTLE Sleep!

This past weekend, we had the pleasure of watching our neice and nephew. Let me remind you that Austin is 3 and Monkey is not quite 7 months yet. Yea, well my sis and her hubby went away for a romantic get away and we got their adorable kids. This was the first time they had left both of them for 2 nights. But I was very proud of them cause they didn't freak. lol. They needed to get away just the 2 of them and spend some quality time together. And of course Josh and I were like "Sure, we will take them. No problem." We both love kids and especially those 2. We had a busy weekend. They came over on Friday afternoon and one of the first things we did was go to the park. If there is anything I have learned it would be to wear the kids out. We face many obstacles htis past weekend as well. And the first would be Monkey's stroller. We must have looked like really stupid people. Here we are at the park with lots of parents and their kids playing soccer so I mean A LOT of people and we have 2 kids and we can't even open Monkey's stoller. HAHAHA. we just laughed the entire time. Well, that night Austin was so good and went right to sleep in our guest besroom. We could hear him snoring from the hallway. hehe. Monkey on the other hand went to sleep and then woke up at 2 a.m. Yep I said it 2!!!! And she didn't go back down till close to 4. And then they both got back up at 6. Whew! We were really tired. The next day was good. We went to the store and bought Austin an Alabama shirt for the game that night. We then went swimming, and hung out over at Josh's parents. His parents fell in love. They have met Austin a few but this was the first time they had met Monkey. His mom wouldn't even put her down. It was really cute! Well, Shell and Steve came on Sunday to pick up the kids. They looked a little tired from their weekend which was a good sign! hehe! The kids were glad to see mommy and daddy and so were we! After they left we took a 2 hour nap and then went to bed early! We are caught up on sleep and feeloing good!
We might have some new things coming up so we will have to see how things go. I hope I get to post them. Until then ................ Keep Livin' Keep Laughin' Keep Lovin'

Feelin' the Love!

So, it has been a few days since I have written but things have been very busy around the Keeton house! This past weekend some our very good friends got married and that's what I wanted to talk aout the most. I met Spencer and Rachael when Josh and I were dating. They both went to UA so I really didn't get to know them until they moved back home. Since then I have found that they have big hearts! They would do pretty much anyhting for anybody. They got engaged right after Josh and I got married. It was a lot of fun to see some of our friends go through the same process that we had just gone through. Well, a year passed quickly and before we knew it, the time was here. Thursday was the rehearsal and things went so smooth. Rachael seemed so calm and ready to walk down the isle. Friday was the rehearsal dinner which was good and fun. Lots of people and lots of food. Then Saturday rolled around and the big day was here. Their wedding was held at the Monte Sano Mountain Lodge and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!. Rachael made a beautiful bride. One thing that was really cool to me was that she wore my veil. It was really neat to see it on someone else but also really neat that it got used again. So that was nice to see. Well, the reason I wanted to talk about the wedding was that I felt all the love going around that night. You could feel the love between Spencer and Rachael, you could feel the love from their parents while they gave speeches, and it just made you want to get married all over again! For that night I feel like I fell in love with Josh again. These moments in life remind you of what it is all about and that is Love! Well, I just had to take a few pictures even though there was a photographer. I know I know I was being bad but I only took a few. So I will try and post them soon. Until then....... Lucky To Be Me!!!

So, last night my hubby didn't get home until late last night from work. I often get frustrated with his eratic work schedule and tend to get a bit mad. But, today I remind myself how lucky I am to have such a wonderful husband! Josh is loving, caring, understanding, patient, and best of all True. My family all the time reminds me "how lucky" I am to have a husband like him and it sometimes irritates me because I hear so often, but it is SO true. I could not have been more blessed than I was the day we said I do. I just wanted to say thank you Josh for letting me do what I want to do and being sooo supportive. You really are my love! and butthead! lol.

Well, last night I got to start editing some of Monkey's pictures and they are just sooo cute! I cannot believe she is 6 months old already! I am so thankful to be apart of her and her big brother's life. I will post some pics and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! I will post some more soon and Until then..... Keep Livin Keep Lovin and Keep Laughin!

A quick update!

Hello everyone! It's been a few days since I have written, but i figure I should update this before I get too far behind! Last week, I had a baby shoot up in Winchester. It was Thursday and since we were having birthday dinners on Saturday, I decided to stay the 3 days with my grandmother. The shoot went amazing and I couldn't be happier with the results! Maddy is an adorable 7 week old baby girl that I got to shoot! Both of Maddy's parents came to the shoot whicj was pretty cool to see the Daddy get involved! This is their first child but they seemed like pros! Maddy's mom had brought several props that we had a lot of fun with! My favorite was the tutu that she made. It was just perfect.
Friday, I had an interesting day! I got to go to dinner with the Friday night 5. THis group consists of my grandmother's friend. My grandmother got tied up with a prior engagement so I got to pick up Ms. Bigger. She is pretty much my adopted grandmother. We went to Tullahoma for dinner where we met up with Bruce and Ms Millie. Ms Millie was a character. Her birthday ois Nov. 29 and she will be turning 100! Yes I said it! 100! She still gets out and doesn't look a day over 80. So that was actually a lot of fun.
Saturday my sis came up with her fam to get some pics taken of Monkey since she turned 6 months old TODAY!!! We had a lot of fun dressing her up and dressing her down! We captured some pretty funny happenings as well like her falling backwards in a bowl! But no worries! No Babies were harmed in the shoot! haha We then had the birthday dinners for my uncle and bro-in-law. That was fun and the first family gathering since my grandpa passed away. But it was good.
THis week has just been laid back. I have been playing with my pups and editing pictures! I will post a few from the shoot so you can see! I will also post some pics of Monkey's 6 months soon! Until then...Keep Livin Keep Lovin Keep Laughin

Being Aunt Lauren!

So, last Friday I got to babysit my neice and nephew. My sister had to do some shopping and needed both hands to do so. I am always happy to babysit for her though. Josh and I have just as much fun as they do. Well, my sis dropped them off in the morning and we put started to watch cartoons. The cartoons were starting to fade into disney shows like zac and cody and others like that and well mr austin wasn't having any of that. He wanted another show. And thats what he told me. Nother show! Well then i got to my feet and put on Happy Feet. We watched that for a while and then let the dogs in! This is where it gets good. We have 2 dogs of our own but we are dogsitting for the in laws and have their pug, Duke. Man did they have fun. Austin ran and ran and ran around the couch with the dogs. They were chasing him, he was chasing them. and then you weren't really sure who was chasing who. But that doesn't matter. We had to stop to eat lunch and feed Monkey. So the dogs went outside for a bit. Monkey is getting so much fun to be around. She is so alert and I think she is starting to recognize me. I like to think that she does anyways! haha. She's making lots of noise and rollong over, and just all around fun. At one point Josh called home and Austin kept asking about Josh all morning so I let him talk to him over the phone. It was so funny because he started the convo out good but then was too intranced in the movie. Man can he multi-task. lol. Well overall it was a good day.My sis got some stuff done and Austin wore the dogs out. Pretty successful day if you ask me!
I had an awesome weekend! I had a friend come into town that I haven't seen in a while! I got to spend quite a bit of time catching up and remembering the days when we were roommates! It's funny to think that we have gone in different directions but remain such good friends! I miss her! When we are together we don't have to talk to one another to understand what's going on. So that's nice. And she is always introducing me to new things, likes smoked gouda! It's quite yummy! Well, i had a good weekend and just wanted to update everyone on everything!
Going to TN tomorrow so I prob won't be getting on much! However, I should have so new pics on sweet roots before the weekend is up so keep an eye out! Until then....Keep Livin Keep Lovin & Keep Laughin!

Sisters are forever!

Because of the passing of my grandfather, I got to spend a week back home.I don't believe I have spent an entire week at home since I left for college. But I had so much fun just hanging out with my family. Being home made me so homesick that I am making a plan to somehow move back. One day I will. haha. But having all four girls home (me and my sisters) was an absolute blast. We were able to all connect on a deeper level. I miss my family so much. When we all are together I feel so sure of myself and my decisions. It's like life is so simple and things are black and white. I have 3 beautiful sisters that have beautiful families. It's fun to watch them as mothers and kind of liaugh at the same time. I have one sister that lives in Huntsville, one that lives in Florida, and another that lives in Virginia. So I have to find a way to make the other 2 move back home. :)

We went over to my grandmother's house to take some photos. We had a photo of the four of us taken 3 years ago so we thought it was appropriate to take another. The one I'm posting is the four of us and my grandmother. I hope you girls (my sisters) enjoy the pic. I just wanted to say that I love my sisters very very much and miss you all very much! I'll try and post another pic soon. Until then.................. Keep Livin Keep Lovin Keep Laughin

Wednesday, August 5, 2009

So, it has been a few days since I have written anything due to the passing of my grandfather. It still ahs not sunken in and I'm afraid it won't for a very long time. The subject is very hard for me to verbalize but I feel if I write it out, it may help just a bit. So, here it goes.....

My grandfather was diagnosed with bone cancer about a year ago. They really didn't get him llong to live but he really did better than anyone had anticipated. My grandfather has been and probably will always be the srtongest man that I know. His story is a true rags to riches tale.

Gerald Eugene Johnson was born in a small town in Arkansas. His family farmed and did not have much money. I know at one point their house burnt down and so they lived in a chicken coop. I can still remember stories about my grandfather about being embarassed at school bus he had to eat ham and did not have bologna like everyone else. So he use to hide in corners while he ate his lunch. Well, later on in his teen years, he entered a contest at the local fair wiht his hog. His hog won and his prize waas that he got a scholarship to the university of Arkansas. Without this scholarship, he never would have been able to go to school. He went and later on got into medical school which is a whole nother story in itself. But he went to med school, and was later on relocated to Winchester, TN. He was a doctor/surgeon for 42 years. In those 42 years my grandfather did some remarkable things. No he didn't invent things or become famous but he did put reassurance into patients, save lives, and instilled values into his family. My grandfather worked for everthing he had and taught his 4 sons that aswell who turned to their kids (me and the others) and taught them the same thing. It's so funny that he had so many things that he had worked for but it was the simple things that he cared about. Like the Braves, white beans, and his hunting dogs.

When my dad called me with the news, I broke. I have never lost anyone inside my circle before. My circle is now broken and I don't know quite how to deal. All I can think of is that I don't have my grandfather here to make me watch sports and my little grandmother is all alone. I tried so hard to keep it all together while I was at home. I did pretty well but I could absolutely not think about the situation. A huge part of it was that I didn't have any closure. My grandfather donated his body to science so we really didn't get to say good bye. However I am left with a really good memory from the last time I saw him. I just hate that it came to soon. I have honestly never felt so heart broken before in my life. My heart hurts for my family. We all lost a very important person in our life. I stayed with my grandmother after all the family had left so that she wouldn't be alone. I cried myself to sleep thinking that she was in a bed all alone for the first time in 53 years. We went to the grocery store and went for the bananas and realized she only needed 1 or 2. I held back the tears there but they are most certainly streaming now. I hated to leave my grandmother alone. She is the person I look up to most. I only hope to have half as much class, grace, and strength as she posesses. I can only pray that the transition is one that isn't too hard or painful.

So I ask everone who is reading this to please keep my family (especially my grandmother) in your thoughts and prayers. I will hopefully have more to write soon. It just won't be the same.

What a weekend!

So, the weekend started off by Josh going golfing with his dad and brother. While they were away, I went over to a friends to lay out by the pool. This was the first time I have been to a pool this summer. O well. We spent the afternoon laying by the pool sipping on some yummy concoctions. Josh joined us a little later. We decided that this weekend would be full of R&R. Somehting that was much needed. haha. So, after the pool we went to bridgestreet and filled our tummy's with yummy goodness. After walking around for a bit we went back to our house and spent the night watching Harry Potter.

Sunday, however, was a bit different. I had a shoot at 5 and location was still in the air. So, Josh and I drove around one final time and found the perfect spot. My friend Kacey was coming over early to fix my do. I had an awesome time while she was here. I don't get a lot of girl time in so having her over was just what I needed. 5 0'clock came quick and the Williams' family were at our door. Kacey decided to stay and give me a hand sice they had 2 kids. I will take any help I can get. haha. The shoot was amazing and I could not be happier with the way the pictures are coming out. I will post a few and tell me what you think. I am about to go join my wonderful hubby outside on our deck to grill some porkchops! YUMMMM!!!!! Hope everone has had an awesome Monday. I know I have! More stories to come...until then.....Keep Livin' Keep Lovin' Keep Laughin'

Smelling Much Better!

So good news!!!! Shiner is smelling much much better. You can only smell it if you smell his nose very very closely! My hubby went and bought some skunk stuff and it works! THANK YOU PETSMART!!!! Today was a good day. I went and visited Josh at work and hung around there for a couple of hours. His boss is super cool and we usually all wind up sitting around and chatting when I come in. Before I went by his office, I bought myself the best luch EVER!!!! THOMAS'!!!!! Can I get a woot woot?? WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!!!! It's so good. Chicken and fries and slaw with a sweet tea!!!!! I could eat it every day. Yummm. Anyways. After that we drove around looking for new locations for me to shoot. Found a couple of really cool places that I want totry out but still looking! We then dropped by his parents house to get the Harry Potter movies and wound up eating dinner with them. They have started a Friday night tradition....PIZZA! SO of course we were totally down to eat with them! We stayed for a few hours just chatting about the differnet trips coming up. His parents are super sweet and supportive of me and Josh. Well, we are about to start the Harry Potter movies since we want to go see the new one but we won't know what's going on. So, we grabbed the movies and are having a friday night IN! We need to rest up from the past few weekends! haha. I hope to tell you some interesting tales the next time! Until then...... Keep Livin' Keep Lovin' Keep Laughin'

SKUNKED!!!

Okay, so tonight has been an interesting one! My hubby and I went to Bridgestreet for some oh so yummy pizza. We ran a couple of errands and then went home. All was fine in the Keeton house.....UNTIL..... we let shiner out. tsk tsk. For when we let him in, Josh nearly gagged. Shiner had been SUCCESSFULLY sprayed by a skunk. I repeat myself...SUCCESSFULLY sprayed...in the face. We later found out that he was very lucky that he didn't go blind. Well, after a shampoo with doggy shampoo we did mouthwash then shampoo then tomato jucie then shampoo! I love my hubby dearly cause he was the one in the shower with Shiner! WAY TO GO BABE!!! Trust me though I was rooting him on the entire time from afar! hehe!I must say that we feel lucky that only one dog went out when they usually go together!

Anyways.... today was a pretty good day! I went over to my sister's house today to run a few ideas (for sweet roots) by her. Well, a few ideas turned into a lot of ideas! haha. But that's really good cause now we feel much better about the business. We have a lot of creative projects coming up that I am totally stoked about! WOOT WOOT!!! So between talking to Shell, holding Monkey, and helping her big brother find his undies, we actually got some stuff accomplished! Overall it was really good day! Hope to post some pics eventually!!! Until then.....Keep livin' Keep Lovin' Keep Laughin'

Busy Busy Bee!

Okay, so it's been a day or two or a week since I have blogged! But, that's ok cause I have been super busy!!! I love it when my life is busy and there is always something around the corner. This past weekend was an absolute blast. Friday night we went out in celebration for a friend. He passed his law exam to become a pharmacist! WOOT WOOT!! Go Justin! Well, they started the evening out early bu going to dinner and a movie but Josh and I had no time to get ready. We had moved his company to their new building and let me tell you desks can be quite heavy. However, it felt good to get out and get some exercise. Later on that night we met up with the other two couples downtown at Mason's. We stayed there for a while and then made our way to a new bar that had opened that night. It's called Rush or The Rush. Can't really remember. O well. It was fun! We ran into a bunch of people. Luckily I had my dancing soul mate with me! Her name is Ashley. I always felt that I was the only one who danced everywhere there was music. BUT NO!!! Ashley dances everywhere with me now! Sigh!!! haha! We had a ton of fun. The night went on and so did the fun.
Saturday, we had to get up because my sister was bringing over monkey. This would be my niece. I call her monkey cause she is so adorable and has really chubby cheeks. My sister and my nephew had to attend a b-day party down the road so Josh and I got to hang out with monkey. First off, this baby is the most chill baby I have ever met! As long as you are holding her she is perfectly content. Time flew by and before we knew it they were gone.
Summerfest!!!! This was the first year Huntsville had put on this event! They blocked off streets downtown and had bands play like Sister Hazel and Cowboy Mouth. It was a lot of fun! As the sun went down, so did the drinks! Everyone insight was feeling the music. We stayed for a while and then we had to go lewt the our dogs out. As soon as we let them in we drove back downtown and joined back with the group. After the bands were done playing we went to a fine establishment. (sammy t's) yea, I know! lol. The were playing 80's music which was different but it didn't keep Ashley and me from dancing. Overall, it was a good night!
Sunday, was a bit of a rest day. We needed it! My allergies started to attack me so that wasn't really fun. But I feel 110% now! YAY Nyquil!!!! So, tonight my friend is coming over to cut mine and josh's hair! We need it badddd! This week is going to be pretty busy as well! I have a shoot Friday and Sunday and on Saturday I have a friend coming into town! SOOOO.... there ought to be some interesting posts! haha! Until then... Keep Livin' Keep Lovin' Keep Laughin'

Productive Tuesday!

So, today was much more productive than yesterday. Thank goodness! haha. Although I slept in, I got a lot done. I have turned into a bit of a night owl so I usually sleep later. But that's ok because I get most of my editing done between 12-2 in the morning. The Hubs is asleep and so are the dogs, it's nice and dark so my computer glows bright! Back to today... I was able to clean the kitchen some and do the dishes and wash some laundry! I have to say one of my favorite smells is fabric softener in the washing machine. Hmmmm it puts me in a nice, clean, happy place. I also pulled out some paint today and got a little crafty. When JOsh got home we took the dogs for a ride (which is their fav thing to do). We drove around listening to music and enjoying having the windows rolled down! So, overall it was a pretty good day. We are now about to watch Benjamin Button! I have heard good things about the movie so we'll have to see! OHHHHH!!!!!!!! By the way.....today I decided that I want to go to the beach! SOON! I just want to sit out on the beach in the sun with a drink in my hand and eat lots of yummy food! That's all I want! haha. So, now I just have to convince the hubby, find a condo, and find willing participants!!!! I don't think that last part will be too hard though! lol! I will let you know how that goes!!! Until then.................. Keep Livin' Keep Lovin' & Keep Laughin'

Lazy Days.....

So, the past couple of days have been pretty lazy BUT I don't mind one bit! haha. It has actually given me some time to get a lot of my editing done. I was able to buy some new software so I have had alot of fun playing around with that and sharing the photos with others. I always love to hear what others have to say even if they don't have good things to say. It gives me another way to look at the photos so I can improve in any area. Not everyone has been supportive, but mostly everyone and it's really nice when you have people backing you up when you are trying to do something you love. I am pretty much self-taught when it comes to photography so I still have a lot to learn. But that's ok I am always up to finding out something new!
Well, yesterday I when my hubby got home wee went to Hancock's to buy some fabric that I am going to take to one of my sisters. She just recently made my neice some dresses and they were absolutely adorable. So, of course, I couldn't help myself from going and purchasing some adorable fabric. A little girl can never have too much to wear! haha. (i still live by that)
After that, we went and picked up some pizza at Marco's pizza. This was the first time we had ever eaten Marco's. But holy cow!!!!! It was delicious! I highly reccommend it to everyone! We then went home and sat our happy bottoms on the couch to watch one of my favorite shows.....The secret life of the american teenager! I know I know.... but it's actually a really good show. Atleast I think it is! lol. It adresses real life issues in a pretty tasteful way.
We ended the night by walking our pups around our neighborhood. Anytime we put shoes on, our dogs go crazy cause they think they are going somewhere. You gotta love dogs!!! well, hopefully the next time I write, I will have something interesting to tell ya'll!!! So until then........... Keep livin' Keep Lovin' & Keep Laughin'

What a Weekend!!!!!!!!!!

This is my first post for my personal blog so I hope it's not too boring! This weekend was kind of crazy so I have a feeling that it will be anything but boring! haha! One of my sisters has started blogging about her daily life and it made me want to start one of my own. So here it is!

So yea we call our dogs our children since we don't have any yet! Well, my husband works for a small engineering firm and I am starting my own photography business called Sweet Roots Photography. I have started a blog for my photos already. http://sweetrootsphotography.blogspot.com/ Have a peak and let me know what you think.
Ok, so this weekend was a CRAZY weekend! It started out with Thursday night. We went downtown to a local bar with a couple of our friends. We didn't stay out too long because they had to work the next day but we made plans to go out the next night! And so we did and man, let me tell you.... it was an adventure to say the least! haha! We went downtown meeting up with the couple before but they weren't there yet so we hung out with some other friends we ran into! It quickly turned into the guys buying drinks and shots for each other and harrassing people as they walked by and such! It was entertaining and a unique way to meet others! Well the other couple finally made it and they brought some more people with them. So all of a sudden it went from 6 people to about 20 people. WOW! haha. So we then ventured to another bar that is more for dancing and had fun shaking our rumps! We saw some disturbing things however! Girls doing things I didn't know was possible! Well, time passed quickly as we were having fun and all the sudden it was 2 in the morning and the bar was shutting down! BUT.... we weren't done having our fun! So... we went somewhere else! I won't say where but it was an experience! yea...an experience! Well, me and the hubs didn't get home till 5 that morning! Yea, 5! I haven't done that in a looonnnggg time! lol! I had sooo much fun though! When we woke up we had to start getting ready for the day since it was the 4th@! We were suppose to do something with my sis but my hubby being the social butterfly he is invited some people over! Sorry sis! We grilled out and just talked and watched a couple fireworks. It was quite lowkey since everyone was suffering from the night before. We survived and so did the rest.
Today, me and my hubby had a lazy day. We wore our pj's all day and just relaxed with our dogs. We went over to my in-laws for dinner (which was so yummy) and caught up. It was such a hectic weekend, after dinner we just drove around and talked. That has to be our favorite thing to do. We just drive and talk since there aren't any distractions. So that was nice. We got home to 2 dogs happy to see us. Josh (my hubby) went and played in his new man room (i'll put pics up soon) and I edited pics from a wedding I shot recently! And now here I am laying in the bed writing this! Well I hope to keep everyone informed on the craziness I call my life! Untill then- Keep Livin' Keep Lovin' & Keep Laughin'
